The best single or double stroller!, November 9, 2010 By Emily P. (Durham, NC) - See all my reviews This review is from: Phil and Teds Explorer Stroller With Doubles Kit in Black (Baby Product) Several years ago I saw a woman jogging with a Phil&Teds Sport stroller with doubles kit. Never having seen anything like it, I knew I wanted that stroller when I started my family. So while pregnant with my 1st child, I ordered the Phil&Teds Sport. I loved it mostly, but had a few complaints. Several months ago I realized that Phil&Teds had just come out with a new stroller that fixed all the complaints I had with the Sport. I promptly sold my Sport and purchased the Explorer and have been thrilled with my stroller ever since. Here are the things I love about the stroller:
- it's a jogger stroller just in case you might ever want to run with it (front wheel can swivel or lock)
- it has substantial wheels that will easily roll over any terrain (and glides like air on smooth surfaces)
- it has a second seat that can be added when you have a second kid******* (prob the best feature!!!!- you won't have to buy a new stroller when you have your 2nd kid!!)

The new Explorer, September 13, 2010 By This review is from: Phil and Teds Explorer Stroller With Doubles Kit in Black (Baby Product) I got this stroller a few days ago, and so far i love it....i only have one baby right now and he rides in the front, he is 16 months and can get into both seats by him self. wheni first got it we tried it with himin the front and a friend in the back, they both relaly loved it. and the kid in the back had a fine time, didnt mind that he was looking at the back of a seat. I got this stroller because it seemed to fix all the problems that the sports stroller had wrong with it. like the breaks, on this stroller it is very easy to use. and the sunshade is very much inproved. it is big and can follow the sun, that is very handy. and the second seat has a sunshade. the foot rest is no longer fabric so that is nice. the only thing i would say that is deffrant then i would have thought, is that the wheel covers are a bit flimsy, but im not going to say thats a bad thing. i will have to wait in see if its a bad thing or not, so far its not been a problem.

PROS:
Compact.
Great quality- durable.
Sun shade on both seats.
Can be used as a single stroller if I just have 1 child with me or a double for 2 children.
Second seat comes off easily.
Large storage for diaper bag or shopping bags.
Foot pedal break easy to use (with flip flops too!).
Great tires so off roading will be easy.
Travel system for infant car seat (we have the Maxi Cosi).
CONS:
A little awkward to get in and out of the car and a little heavy but prob. better than most doubles.
Second seat can get a little boring for my toddler (16 months) since she doesn't have a lot to look at but with lots of toys and treats I think it will work.
